I’ve been a professional automotive technician for about 15 years, and I started TheOtherMechanic as a way to share what the automotive world is really like beyond the typical repair-shop experience. I wanted to make content that’s useful, entertaining, and actually comes from someone who works on cars every day. The channel has grown into a mix of real repairs, car reviews, project builds, tools, shop life, humor, and automotive education.
